ELAC Advances Two Singles and Two Doubles to CCCAA State Tournament

After a five-hour, four-way competition, the Huskies successfully advanced five players to the state tournament next Friday and Saturday at Pasadena City College. Gabriela Naranjo and Yamei (Amber) Huang qualified by making it to the semifinals of today's SCC Championships in singles action, with Nancy Liao, Yajuan (Jessica) Zhou, and Jasmine De La Cruz joining Gabriela advancing in the doubles bracket.

PCC beat out ELAC, Compton College and El Camino to win the SCC title in both singles and doubles play. State matchups to be determined next Thursday.
