Huskies to Play in Combined Conference for the 2022 Badminton Season

Badminton - the last spring sport to begin its season in Spring 2022 - has returned to campus following a near two-year COVID layoff. But not within traditional South Coast Conference play.
With conference opponent Compton College unable to field a team this season, the Huskies found themselves short of opponents; El Camino and Pasadena City are the only other schools within the SCC to have teams.
Fortunately, the SCC found a partner in the Pacific Coast Conference, who faced a similar problem of only having three eligible teams to compete. With the SCC and PCC joining forces this season, East LA will square off twice with Irvine Valley and San Diego Mesa in addition to facing the Warriors and Lancers twice.
