ELAC Women’s Basketball opens Wild West tourney with 76-57 win

CULVER CITY, Calif.No. 8 East Los Angeles College began play in the Wild West Shootout women’s basketball tournament with a convincing 76-57 win against No. 10 Los Angeles Valley College at “The Den” at West Los Angeles College.

“We played together as a team with a lot of intensity focusing on every possession,” said forward Breanna Hyde (Sherman Oaks CES). “We pressed on defense, which helped create offensive play because that’s how you win a game, with defense.”
