The ELAC women's basketball team has had a tough road... literally.

They've yet to host a game at ELAC, playing in road games and tournaments against top-flight opponents. They're currently 7-4, and their efforts have been cited in today's SCC women's basketball report

Not only are the Huskies' currently ranked seventh in RPI (which factors team record and strength of opponents faced), but they are in an absolutely stacked SCC North division:

As the graphic shows, despite their 7-4 record, ELAC is tied for last in the SCC North with Mt. SAC. As a comparison, the leader of the SCC South - Compton College - is only 8-6. This sets up lots of excitement and opportunity for the Huskies once conference play begins in January (it's expected that Coach Turner will have his full roster ready to play by then).

The Huskies will make their Montery Park debut beginning December 27th through the 29th when they host the Okawa Classic. They'll be four games each day starting at 1pm for the 27th and 28th, and 10am on the 29th. Admission is free for all days and games.
