Although the season has ended for the East Los Angeles College Huskies, the team earned more honors as two more players were added to the All-South Coast Conference North Division team:

  • Sophomore guard Ryan Terry, who finished the season avergaing 11.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game with a respectable 35.8% accuracy from three-point range (she shot over 40% in conference play). She was added to the All-Conference First Team.
  • Freshman wing Jaidin Lacount, who started 21 of the 28 games the Huskies played. She averaged 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, making the All-Conference Second Team.

ELAC was upended by Glendale College, 63-58, in the second round of the CCCAA Tournament. The team finished their 2019-2020 campaign with a 16-13 (2-6) record, 21st in state RPI (strength of schedule). Playing three-quarters of their season severely short-handed, Coach Turner got his team to fight hard and compete, finding success in non-conference play that was heavy with road and in-season tournament games. One of the highlights of the season was the team beating host school City College of San Francisco (21-8, 8-2) in the championship game of the Golden Rams Classic in December.
