ELAC women’s soccer wins 3-0 shutout over L.A. Harbor

MONTEREY PARK, Calif. - The East Los Angeles College Huskies women’s soccer team scored a 3-0 win against Los Angeles Harbor College in a South Coast Conference crossover game at home today.

The shutout win improves ELAC’s record to an even 6-6-5 overall. Harbor (6-10-4), who was unbeaten in the last 12 days, lost for the second time this season to ELAC. The Huskies took the initial meeting 1-0 at Harbor on Sept. 12.

The Huskies have a 5-1-3 record against Harbor since 2014, which includes four ELAC shutout wins and a 0-0 draw in double overtime when this streak began.

Freshman forward Perla Navarro scored two goals for the Huskies. The third goal has not yet been reported. Information will be updated when it becomes available.

Sophomore goalkeeper Adriana Huerta (South East HS) had six saves.

The Huskies play their final game of the season against Mt. San Antonio College on Friday, at 2 p.m. at home on Sophomore Day.
