Strong Start Places ELAC Among Early Conference Leaders

In this week's South Coast Conference softball release, East Los Angeles College is noted amongst its early leaders. They are 4-1 overall, with a 3-0 conference record.

The Huskies are off to a better early-season start than last year, when the team struggled out the gate to drop their first five games. They are tied for second in the SCC in team batting average (.319) and homeruns (six). ELAC is also third in SCC team-ERA at 3.72.

East Los Angeles are currently battling the Roadrunners at Rio Hondo as of this writing. They then travel to LA Mission College tomorrow for a 1pm game before heading to Mt San Jacinto for a weekend tournament.
