Coach Troglia played collegiately for Cal State University of Los Angeles (CSULA) where she earned her BS in Business Marketing. After college, she played professionally in the women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for Rampage FC and LAFC, as well as overseas for Division I women's professional team F.C. Girona in Spain. She possesses her USSF 'B' coaching license. She also earned Master's of Science in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific.

She lives in nearby Whittier with her fiancé Andy Rea, two dogs (Buster & Bell), and son Mason.
