Former Husky Jeremiah Jackson-Trotter Signs with the Edmonton Elks of the CFL

East Los Angeles College football alumnus Jeremiah Jackson-Trotter has signed a contract to play for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League. The signing was announced today by the Elks.

Jackson-Trotter, a product out of Canyon Springs HS in North Las Vegas, Nevada, played in the fall of 2021 for the Huskies as a defensive lineman. He had 52 total tackles (32 solo), seven TFLs (tackles for loss) and 1.5 sacks, ultimately earning a scholarship to play at Davenport University. This is the second Huskies' player - current or former - from head coach Bobby Godinez's program to sign a pro football contract this calendar year. Defensive back DeGabriel Floydone of the big stars of the ELAC 2023 football season, signed last month with the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League.
