East LA College arguably played their most complete game of the season, taking a 10-0 first quarter lead and never looking back. With Ventura defeating College of the Canyons 23-13, next's week game where the Huskies host the Pirates will be for the National Northern League title.

A successful onside kick gave Long Beach City College one last chance to threaten East LA's lead, but the Huskies' defense stopped the Vikings on downs with 1:06 left in the game to preserve a six-point lead and the win.
Late Go-Ahead TD, Defensive Stand Earns Huskies Upset Win at Cerritos

Tyson Schilling hauled in 23-yd TD pass from Terrance Gipson with 1:01 left to give ELAC a 30-26 lead. Cerritos would gain 25 yards in two plays to in two plays to move into ELAC territory at the 38 with under 30 seconds left, but would advance no further. A pair of clutch sacks on second and third down by the Husky D salted away the clock and sealed a huge victory for the visiting Dawgs over the state #4 ranked Falcons.

For the second straight week, ELAC took an eight-point lead into the fourth quarter only to have their opponent march down the field to score a touchdown AND convert a two-point try to tie the game late. Huskies went to two overtimes again SD Mesa tonight, but a failed two-point try sealed the win for the Olympians.
