Huskies Complete Season Sweep Against Los Angeles Harbor

MONTEREY PARK, CA – Poised for the evening, Huskies (10-9, 4-4) stepped onto the court ready to play resulting in a (25-6, 25-9, 25-18) over the Seahawks (2-10, 0-7) in the South Coast Conference (SCC).

The Huskies entered this match with a win over Long Beach City College on Friday, October 24th, made it two wins in a row Wednesday evening with three set win before a full house in the “Erena”.

Executing an excellent serving and transition game that stunned the Seahawks, the Huskies pull into fourth place in the conference standing one game behind the number three team Mt. San Antonio.

Eriazmin Mauries (MH) had 15 kills, 7 digs, and 3 service aces to lead the Huskies, while Mia Madott (MH) and Breanna Trujillo (OH) each had 8 kills and 6 digs for the evening.

Vanessa Gutierrez (S) had assists and 3 service aces while Angela Carrasco (S) had assists and 3 digs.

East Los Angeles College had a commanding presence on the floor and out-scored Los Angeles Harbor16:1 and hit a season high of 14 service aces in a single match.
