Powered by an 11-game winning streak, the East Los Angeles College Huskies have climbed back into the top-5 of the CCCMBCA state poll (ELAC began the season at #4).

The Huskies swept the month of December: they won two weekend tournaments (Riverside and Cuyamaca) plus their first two home games of the season. And they opened the new calendar year by dominating El Camino on the road.

Good shooting has been one of the keynotes of success so far - ELAC shoots over 50% from the field as a team (50.5%). Kealen Allen (aka KJ Allen) leads the team in scoring at 18.3ppg and also leads all of California in field goal percentage at 70.2%. Seven other Huskies are so far shooting 50% or better from the field on the season, including starters Levelle Zeigler (55.1%) and Malik Muhammed (55.8%).

ELAC will host it's first game of 2020 tomorrow when LA Southwest pays a visit to Monterey Park. Gametime is at 6pm.
