Husky Basketball Celebrates Sophomore Night
Prior to East Los Angeles's Conference Basketball Doubleheader with visiting Mt. San Antonio College on February 3rd, Huskies Men's Basketball Head Coach John Mosley and Women's Basketball Head Coach Bruce Turner led a celebration for the ten Husky athletes playing their last regular season home game at the E-RENA.
As the night doubled as Coaches vs Cancer night, all the Husky players were dressed in their bright pink uniforms to support those in the fight against cancer.
Accompanied by family, friends and teammates, the ten athletes received a bouquet of flowers and a loud ovation from the Husky fans, thanking them one more time for plenty of good memories.
The Huskies being honored on this night were Maria Martinez, Isabella Aranjo Gomez and Diamond Bishop from the Women's Team while Corey Cofield, Jon Saunders, Tyrelle Hunt, JT Langston, Demetrius Calip, Noel Scott and Chris Oliver were honored from the Men's Team.
We congratulate these ten athletes on their accomplishments and wish them luck in their future endeavors. As the saying goes "Once A Husky, Always A Husky"
