Huskies Rout Compton Tartars 9-1 in 5 Innings

The Huskies only had five hits in the game, but they made each one count as they blow out the Compton Tartars 9-1 in five innings. The victory was helped along by four Compton errors, as ELAC took advantage of misplayed ground balls and a dropped fly ball to stay on the base paths. The Huskies also kept up the offensive pressure with four stolen bases, including a double-steal in the second inning. Jennifer Rivera and Serena Lopez each had one hit and two RBI, with Lopez also pitching 3 perfect innings on the mound. Jasmine Flores keyed the Huskies' aggression on the base-paths with 2 stolen bases and two runs scored.

ELAC is at home again tomorrow, March 14th at 3pm, hosting Long Beach.
