Flores Wins 1500m at SCC Opener

The star of the East LA College's Cross Country team for last fall - Marbella Flores - is picking up on the track where she left off on the trails.

ELAC Women's Track & Field opened their 2024 campaign last Saturday in the SCC Opener at El Camino College. Flores won the 1500m, beating out a field of 25 other runners with a time of 4:52.07. She also finished fifth in the 400m.

Flores was a State Top-10 finisher for Cross Country back in November after a very successful Fall season. Head Coach Milton Browne will look to the sophomore to continue her success in the Spring.
