Before looking to host this Saturday's Leader of the Pack Tournament, the #3 state-ranked East Los Angeles College women's wrestling first had business to take care in a dual matchup, hosting Bakersfield College.
On the strength of four pinfalls and a decision, ELAC indeed took care of busines, defeating the Renegades 45-6.
Freshmen Mollie Jimenez (109 lb), Mia Ramirez (116 lb) and Andrea Maldonado (128 lb), along with sophomore Delilah Rhiannon Felix-Lopez (123 lb), scored dominant first-period pinfalls. Freshman Tabitha Mariscal (148 lb) earned a 14-8 decision over BC's Crystal Vasquez.
The rest of the scoring came via forfeits: ELAC was awarded four forfeit wins (136, 160, 180, 220 lbs) and Bakersfield had one (102 lb).
