Earlier this week, East LA College Women's Cross Country clocked in on 5CTCA SoCal Poll for the first time this season and the first time in many seasons.
They earned #11 on the poll, but after today that should go up. Sophomore Kiyoko Divecchio finished second overall at the Mt. SAC Invite today, bolstering the team to third place overall. It's the team's highest place finish so far this season.
Divecchio clocked in at 19:18.4 for her best finish of the season. Freshman Cassidy Quintanar finished 17th (21:27.8), and freshman Renata Cuevas finished 19th (21:30.9) to work into today's top-20. Sophomore Rosalinda Solis (22:35.6) and Kiara Cam (23:47.9) also placed during the run.
